Dear all,

i am having troubles with CP. When i am opening outlook i am getting message The form region "Value Data" cannot be opened. The form region manifest specifies an add-in that is not installed.

After clicking aprox 4 times on this message it is disappearing and after few seconds i get another message Microsoft Office Outloook has encountered a problem and need to close ...

After confimation another message that CP will be disabled in MS Outlook. In order to use CP again i need to start MS Outlook agains without CP and enable it after start.

It is making me sick to do it each time when starting MS outlook again.

Can you help. I did all what written on your support site, no improvement.

Hello,

First of all I am sorry that you are experiencing a problem while using Categorize Plus.  In order for me to assist you more effectively, it will help if you can send me a support request from inside Categorize Plus.  This will send an email to support@veranosoft.com and will append the Categorize Plus settings files along with any error logs that may have been created.  This might help me to further understand what is causing the problem. 

To send these files, you must first start Outlook, and after Outlook has started, then you must enable Categorize Plus.  Immediatly after Categorize Plus is enabled, then from the Categorize Plus drop down menu, please select Categorize -> Tools -> About Categorize Plus.  This will open the About Categorize Plus Dialog.  Once this dialog opens, then please select the “Email Support” button.

Once I recieve the files, then I will attempt to understand what may be causing the problem.

Dear Jon,

thank you for reponse. I tried to provide you with error report, but I am not having in standard outlook menu specific Categorize Plus Menu. I have only Categorize Plus toolbar and category list window. So i was not able to find option you adviced me to use.

Hello Luba,

I have been doing some research on the Internet regarding the error that you are experiencing.  I have learned that the Outlook Form Regions are registered under two keys in the Windows registry (see below).  Categorize Plus does not use form regions, but I suspect that one or more of your other add-ins are using form regions. 

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\FormRegions
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\FormRegions

You may want to look under these keys in your registry to see which of your Outlook add-ins are using Form Regions.  Knowing that might give us a clue as to why the error is being generated on your computer. 

It is also possible that you may have previously uninstalled another add-in that was using Form Regions, and the associated key was not deleted when the add-in was removed.  If that is the case, then deleting the registry key should fix the problem.

Dear Jon,

thank you your response. I wil check with admin as I do not have full admin rights do check registry.

In mean time my PC got upgraded to MS Office 2010 and I really miss full functionality of Categorize Plus. Please re-reconsider your decision. Without some suitable quick cetegorization my mailbox is getting unusable, please.

Anyhow thank you for excellent tool which i was using before in MSO 2007, it was excellent.
